Agent Creates a Submission

The agent can start a new submission in the IOI Copilot from the client page. The information and documents saved to the client account make creating a new submission quick and easy.

Find the Client in the
Book of Business

On the Book of Business page, the agent can search for the client name by typing it into the “Search by Account Name” field and pressing the “Apply” button. Click the blue client name to open the client summary page.

Start a New Submission

Once on the client summary page, click the green “Start New Submission” button to begin a new submission. 

Tip: A submission with fewer red “Incomplete” fields will result in a better submission score.

Select Coverages

The agent must first enter an effective date for the new policy as well as the date in which the policy is needed. The agent can then select the needed lines of coverage from the list. 

The agent can enter a word into the filter field to reduce the number of coverages shown, thus making them easier to find. Try it!

Attach Documents

Any documents saved to the client account are shown here. The agent checks the box to include them in the submission.

The agent can upload additional documents by clicking the “Upload Documents” button. All new documents sent with a submission are automatically saved to the client’s account.

Now, you can choose to return to the "Overview" or select "Markets a Submission" to continue learning about the Internet of Insurance process.
